Laminated slotted shims
Laminated shims in brass or stainless steel
The laminated shims have thin foils that are peelable. The 0.05 mm thin foils can be scaled one by one with a sharp knife in order to gradually scale down until a suitable total thickness is obtained from the shim. When peeling foils, the spacer retains its appearance and strength, similar to that of a completely homogeneous sheet.
- Slotted shims are shims for adjusting engines.
- Brass type CuZn30 (CW505L) with high corrosion resistance.
- Stainless Steel X5CrNI18-10 1.4301 / 1.4307.
- Foil thickness of 0.05 mm.
- Outer dimensions from 43x43 mm up to 200x200 mm.
- Bolt holes from 12 mm to 36 mm in diameter.
- Total thickness of 1 mm.
- Sold under the trademark Laminum®
